Test your grit at interactive stations where you’ll learn how Mountain Men lived off the land, trapped animals for the fur trade, and even kept themselves busy during the long, cold winter.

What to expect:
Guests at "Taps & Traps" will begin their Mountain Man survival night by taking a personality quiz to determine their mountain man's special skill.
Then, you'll participate in mini programs every hour at 6:15, 7:15, and 8:15 to see if you can survive a year in the life of a mountain man. The building will be full of other stations and activities to help you learn about the history of the American fur trade while you test and grow your real-life survival skills. With an art station, a photo booth, and opportunities to talk to experts from around the region, there will be something for everyone. You are welcome to join us anytime between 5:30 and 8:30 pm, but there's lots to do so we recommend being here for the full event, if possible!
All guests will be required to show photo ID at check-in. You will receive two drink tickets, plus a bonus third ticket if you come in costume! Beer is generously sponsored by Blue Raven Brewery and wine is kindly sponsored by The Blue Stem Wine House. Non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks will also be available.
This event takes place over dinner time, so Mad Favors food truck will be here serving up their delicious assortment of Phillies, tacos, and comfort foods. Come hungry and support this amazing local food vendor!
